The Gramercy Fund invests in technologies and services that shape the future. Hewing to due diligence rather than trends, Gramercy invests up to $2.5 million per company, both as a solo investor and alongside others. Gramercy's investments are seed and early-stage in nature.

Tom Gegax - Chairman
Architect of Gramercy's portfolio, Tom has been an executive at one of the world's largest corporations, a start-up entrepreneur, a CEO and a member of numerous boards. He sold his $200 million Tires Plus Stores to Bridgestone/Firestone before writing books on entrepreneurship, including "The Big Book of Small Business" (HarperCollins, 2007). Tom's GMS provides seminars and consulting while he also serves on boards like the Center for Science in the Public Interest and Bobby Kennedy, Jr.'s Waterkeeper Alliance. He lives in Minneapolis and La Jolla, and blogs here.
T. Trent Gegax - President
Trent steers Gramercy's new-investment strategy. He trained his due-diligence skills during 11 years as a correspondent for Newsweek magazine, where he covered politics, the military and the advent of the Web beginning in 1994. Posts included web editor in the 1990s, covering George W. Bush's 2000 presidential campaign and embedding with the U.S. Army during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Trent also assisted Al Gore with his New York Times best-seller "The Assault on Reason" (Penguin, 2007).
Edie Sandmeier - Investment Relations Manager
Edie specializes in research on high-tech investment opportunities. Prior to joining The Gramercy Fund, Edie was business operations manager at the consulting firm Rainier Technology (purchased by HP-Compaq in 2002). She began her career at IBM.
